There’s a very specific kind of magic when you see Cinderella Castle for the first time. And if you’ve ever felt that magic, you’re in the right place.
Welcome!
My name is Emilee and it is truly exciting to meet you!
Camp’s Chasing Castles is a place for me to share about my experiences, specifically in regard to Disney magic, tips, and tricks in hopes that it helps you have a more unforgettable trip.
Here’s a few things you should know about me. I am a Christian. A wife. A dog mom. An Athletic Trainer. And last but certainly not least, a proud Disney Adult.
My family has taken regular trips to Disney World every few years since I was young. The sight of the castle, the taste of a Mickey Bar, the smells on Main Street, and everything in between are as magical to me now as they were when we first began going.

As much as Disney has always been a part of my story, it became even more special during my junior year of high school. I was lucky enough to find a guy who was willing to stick it out through my Disney obsessions. Ethan and I have been together since 2015, and when we got married in 2022, he quickly became just as obsessed. His first trip to Disney World was on our honeymoon! You might even hear from him here from time to time.

Over the years, I have definitely formed some serious (and not so serious opinions) on all things Disney. And if my opinion on something can help even one person have a more magical trip, why not share it?
If this sounds like your kind of magic, here’s what you’ll find here:
- Honest Disney tips (the kind you actually need)
- Ride & restaurant opinions (the good, the bad, and the overrated)
- Beginner-friendly guides (to things like pin trading and must-do’s)
- Real stories from real trips (not just the highlight reel)
If you’re wondering about the name of this blog, let me explain a little. When my husband and I got married, I got the privilege of taking his last name, Camp. I have always been obsessed with castles (which I’m going to blame on having so many princesses influencing me). It is a dream of mine to explore as many castles as I can, the main one being Cinderella’s Castle at Disney World, of course. Hence the name, Camp’s Chasing Castles.
While this will mainly be a Disney related blog for now, I wanted to leave myself some room to explore more castles someday. So if one day you see more than just Disney content here, don’t be surprised.
I love talking Disney, so feel free to share your favorite ride, snack or Disney memory in the comments or through my contact page! You can also email me at [email protected].
Whether you’re planning your first trip or your fifteenth, I’m so glad you’re here.
Because around here, we’re not just visiting Disney… we’re chasing castles.
